He said he and his cousin had experienced during 10 years working in the woods but such an incident never happened.
"It is our job to look for reckless wood in the forest and on Sunday morning we went to Forest Grove as usual. We only carry bag for a bottle of mineral water and a little food for thought not anticipated this.
"Because of running out of food, we only ate palas tree shoots and roots only drink water to keep you full," he said.

Mother, father does not eat too worried
Meanwhile, the victim's brother, Norizan Abdul Wahab, 32, said his mother, RESERVE Abu Bakar, 52, has been several days without food for being too worried about the safety of children and his nephew.
"When my brother did not come home, her mother remained healthy and no appetite to eat because too worried. Similarly, the father and the two of them until vomitting vomiting due to stomach flu.

Search and rescue (SAR) team found the two victims in the hilly areas and shrubs around 11.50am and taken down to the center of the movement at around 1.40 pm yesterday.
Two cousins were also found in a safe condition although tired and weak because the food supply is disconnected.
A total of 36 people involved in the operation, including police officers, Detector Dog Unit (K9), Rela, Civil Defence Department, Forest Department and villagers.
