Dalang want to topple government will meet PM again

PUTRAJAYA - The meeting Umno leader who masterminded the overthrow of the government by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on Sunday was canceled at the request of the individuals concerned.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said, however, another meeting will be rearranged but do not know the new date.

"I understand the journalists had gathered at the Prime Minister's private residence in Jalan Duta and in the official residence at Seri Perdana to see who it was, upon the request of that person, an appointment had been canceled.

"I do not know when a new meeting was held, but I am sure this meeting will be held," he said at a press conference at the Perdana Putra Building, here, today.

Earlier, Ahmad Zahid revealed Umno leaders who allegedly intends to join the opposition MPs to topple the government, will meet Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak at 6 pm, on Sunday.

Ahmad Zahid said the leaders had realized his mistake and is willing to meet with Najib.

When asked about the reason for the cancellation, but he jokingly said, Umno leaders were forgetting his intention due to the presence of so many media workers.

"There's a reason (because) many journalists waiting for him," he said.

KUALA LUMPUR: Tengku Mahkota Johor (TMJ) Brigadier General Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim criticized UMNO Supreme Council member, Datuk Dr Mohd Fuad Zarkashi who made the statement that there are no problems between the Sultan and Prime Minister.

TMJ said, is not desirable to Dr Mohd Puad made the statement without knowing what really happened.

"Referring to a statement made Umno supreme council member Datuk Dr Mohd Fuad Zarkashi said there was no problem between the Sultan of Johor and the prime minister, in my opinion one should not make statements without being aware of the real story.

"Do not speculate regarding His Royal Highness was no problem with the prime minister or not, because only the Sultan and I only know the whole story about it.

"So, for now, we just need to know and there is no reason for it to be made public," he said through the official Facebook account Johor Southern Tigers on Sunday.

On Saturday, Mstar report, Dr Mohd Puad criticized the actions of certain parties who spread rumors on social media that Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar and Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak did not have a good relationship.

BEIJING - CHINA. At least seven were killed and 55 others reported missing over four days ago after a landslide hit a mining company in northwest China, according to Xinhua news agency reported.

Yesterday, seven bodies were found under the debris remaining workers' hostel in Shayang, near the northern province of Shaanxi.

"Rescue operations are in full swing since the incident last Wednesday that destroyed the residence for their employees," according to news agency quoted rescue officials as saying.

He added that the agency is facing difficulties in finding the thick mud and debris as well as the risk of landslides.

It is understood that the operator of the mine known as Wuzhou in which the parent company is a major producer of vanadium, a chemical element.
