Kuala Lumpur: Babies born by a passenger on board Malaysia Airlines, SH135 on the way to Brisbane, Australia, Friday, reportedly died on the way to hospital.
According to a report in The Sydney Morning Herald, the passenger was identified as P. Yong, 27, was rushed to the Hospital of Mother's Love in Bali.
Previously, the best SH135 traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Brisbane landed about 2.10pm Friday, made an emergency landing Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali.
It was due to P. Yong was 24 weeks pregnant, having contractions for childbirth.
Meanwhile, reports quoting CNN News, doctors from Kasih Ibu Hospital Kuta, Bali, Dr Primawati said the baby was about 22 to 23 weeks with a weight of 500 grams.
"We just did the cleaning of the uterus under the influence of anesthesia because the placenta was left in his stomach.
"Based on our review, gestational age P. Jeyanthi quite young and arguably premature. Normal birth weight was 2,500 grams in a gestational age of 37 weeks, "he said.
Last Friday, the plane carrying 178 passengers and crew landed at 2:10 pm (12:10 pm local time) and soon landed the woman rushed to hospital.
The aircraft was carrying 178 passengers resumed its journey to Brisbane at 4:14 pm.
