Sad news: Doping Test Samples B Datuk Lee Chong Wei POSITIVE


The results of the test sample B belongs to Datuk Lee Chong Wei, 32, who spent Anti-Doping

Administration and Management System (ADAMS) found similar results in a positive doping sample A before.

While it is expected, it is still a painful decision for the athlete badminton number one country.

This result means Chong Wei needs to face the Hearing Committee of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) to determine the punishment to be acceptable.

Normally, if the doping test is positive, the players will face penalties ineligible to participate in any tournament and suspended for two years of participation.

Tuesday, Chong Wei was accompanied by the Chief Executive Officer of the National Sports Institute (NSI), Datuk Dr. Ramlan Abdul Aziz along with general manager Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM), Kenny Goh went to Norway to see the self-test on the B sample was performed in the laboratory of the University Hospital in Oslo.

All of those states are very satisfied with the way the test is done.

Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) is expected to hold a press conference this afternoon to announce the decision formally .
