Teens face in the desert, thrown into the mine by mat rempit



Police confirmed the death of 19-year-old man who allegedly assaulted a group of men before  the decline into the mine at Lake, the trail here, last night was due to drowning.

Acting Kuala Lumpur police chief Deputy Superintendent A Asmadi Abd Aziz said the autopsy showed the suspect died of suffocation after allegedly being attacked by a group of men when he was sitting talking with five other friends.

"The post-mortem issued Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) shows the suspect died of drowning, but there are traces behind head injury victims. Further investigation is still ongoing, "he said in a statement yesterday.


He said the police investigation revealed that happen struggle between the victim and the attacker set before the victim fell into the mine at the scene.

According to him, until now seven suspects, aged 15 to 18 years have been detained and police are still hunting several other suspects believed to be involved with the incident.
