GEORGETOWN - A construction site supervisor and stabbed to death after falling on a pile of iron, so that penetrated his head on Lebuh Farquhar here today.
Mohd Fikri Mohd KHIDI, 27, died on the spot when the 0.3 meter long iron was impaled on his left eye and penetrate to the back of his head.
Chief Fire and Rescue Station Lebuh Pantai Rozairi Mohd Abdul Rahim said the 10.30am incident, the stairs where the footing is suddenly reversed causing him to fall.
"The victim fell from a height of 2.4 meters and are found sprawled in between the rows of metal piles on the floor of the construction site," he said when contacted here today.
He said he had to cut some metal from the back of the head for easy removal of his body from the scene.
Meanwhile, the Northeast District Police Chief ACP Mior Faridalathrash Wahid when contacted said the body of the man from Kulim, Kedah was sent to the Penang Hospital for autopsy.
