# Nothing2Hide: Najib open to dialogue with NGOs

Najib: Should we be honest and open discussion and dialogue can bring mutual benefits.

KUALA LUMPUR: "I'm always ready and committed to meet and dialogue with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to discuss matters related to the state and society," said Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

He said: "Whatever the encounter and dialogue should be run in a quiet and good to bring to the discussion that is beneficial to us all.

"If we are sincere and open, discussion and dialogue can bring the common good," he said in a recent post on his blog NajibRazak.com. today.

Najib was speaking following the cancellation of program dialogue between the Prime Minister and the NGO titled 'Nothing to Hide', organized by the Volunteer Lawyers Malaysia (SukaGuam) that have been designed to be held at 10 am today at Dewan Tun Hussein Onn, Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) here.

Earlier, Prime Minister's Office in his Facebook page today to inform Najib was not present at the dialogue program for safety reasons on the advice of the Chief of Police, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Balk

Meanwhile, Khalid told a news conference this afternoon to announce a decision directing the program was canceled because the police received information of a threat to public order and security.

Based on that information, the decision to cancel the dialog is made under Section 103 of the Criminal Procedure Code, says Khalid.
