Conspiracy to topple the government: 'This is exactly, not an attempt to' - Ahmad Zahid

Ahmad Zahid: I get the right and do not add to or diminish the fact. Conspiracy to overthrow the government of this would have happened if not blocked.

SEGAMAT: "This is exactly, not attempted," said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the conspiracy to overthrow the government through the "back door" is not a theatrical creations.

He is also Vice President of UMNO vice versa, said its exposure was something authentic sources and intelligence agencies responsible.

"I get the right and do not add to or diminish the fact. Conspiracy to overthrow this government will apply if not blocked.

"This is exactly. Do not attempt," he said as if repeating phrases Wak Mustarjo silat guru in the movie "Swordsman Bad Twin".

"We have to plan from the beginning and not willing dropped opposition in this way," he said when opening the Umno division delegates meeting Sekijang here, today.

Also present Umno chief Datuk Dr Baharum Mohamed Sekijang, the division's deputy chief Soft Kassim, and assemblyman Datuk Ayub Rahmat Kemelah.

Ahmad Zahid said the intelligence reports it will be checked again before the facts repeatedly confirmed.

"Then report it (intelligence on conspiracy) and then handed it to me.

"With the intelligence it found the opposition wanted to set up a 'unity government' or unity government involving 88 opposition MPs and wants to attract 40 members of Parliament from the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN)," he said.

Ahmad Zahid said there are those who accuse him of being the mastermind of play when exposing leaders who are trying to get the declarations of MPs is not present to meet Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

"I know about the matter in a meeting. He (the leader) did not come because did not want his picture published (public identity)," he said.

He said the group wanted to submit a sworn statement to the Speaker before the Dewan Rakyat in October to hold a vote of no confidence against the Prime Minister.

"Based on the intelligence that they want to use Plan B, which would submit a sworn statement went on to Yang di-Pertuan Agong for further action," he said.

He, however, believes as many as 134 MPs were not going to be swayed by the pleas to garner support for the road behind it.

Accordingly Ahmad Zahid said he never felt totally wrong when making the disclosure and ready to do anything to defend legally elected government in the last election.

"I am ready to defend the existing government and do not want to apply a political coup that did not provide any advantage as has happened in Perak PAS Although the ruling but his command is DAP," he said.

Meanwhile, he also wants people to understand the truth about the issue of political funds of RM2.6 billion from donors who come from the Middle East.

"Corruption Commission (MACC) has been reviewing the matter from the donor concerned and has confirmed it is not a political funds and trust fund resources and so on," he said.

In the morning when opening the conference delegates Sri Gading, Batu Pahat, Ahmad Zahid said Malaysia was committed to curb the violence, adhere to the teachings of the Sunni community, as well as moderate Muslim country with a pluralistic society is the existence of three reasons donors from the Middle East accounted for political funds of RM2.6 billion to Malaysia.

He also wanted UMNO leaders to always be on the field to explain the real position on various issues to the grassroots so that they are not misled by the propaganda spread by the opposition social media.
