Dr M half-baked proposal

Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man

SHAH ALAM - A proposal by former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad that the opposition to find a formula to lower the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak but retain the BN government is half-baked proposal.

PAS deputy president Datuk Tuan Ibrahim master said this was because the main issue is not just a polemical country stemming from Najib, but cultural and corrupt state administration system inherited from Dr Mahathir himself.

"As soon see proposals Dr Mahathir merely an attempt to use Najib opposition to change in order to save his beloved party, Umno, which has been unable to correct themselves as the problem of money politics.

"Dr Mahathir's proposal is not the solution to the problems of the country as a result of the mismanagement of the burden of administering the country will continue to be tied on the shoulders of the people. Issues that would burden the people, the debt and the issue of RM2.6 billion 1MDB 'contribution' in the prime minister's account, tackle corruption, which is now known as the donation and its competitiveness in global and regional economies will continue to be the main issue under BN culture, " he said in a statement.

In the meantime, Mr. Ibrahim said, it was strange when Dr Mahathir tried to reduce Najib still has not come out of the party.

He said the country can only be saved by making a thorough overhaul of the system is corrupt and change of the party to lead the country.

"The issue of global change must stand on the strength of a strong opposition force and consciousness of all politicians," he said.

Therefore, according to him, will soon organize a People's Congress on 12 September 2015 as an open field for the formulation of an action plan to tackle this global change.

"The political leadership in particular and all NGOs need to sit down, put aside partisan sentiment obsessed in drawing up this comprehensive change to find a new formula," he said.
