Landslides: Seven more bodies were found

BEIJING - CHINA. At least seven were killed and 55 others reported missing over four days ago after a landslide hit a mining company in northwest China, according to Xinhua news agency reported.

Yesterday, seven bodies were found under the debris remaining workers' hostel in Shayang, near the northern province of Shaanxi.

"Rescue operations are in full swing since the incident last Wednesday that destroyed the residence for their employees," according to news agency quoted rescue officials as saying.

He added that the agency is facing difficulties in finding the thick mud and debris as well as the risk of landslides.

It is understood that the operator of the mine known as Wuzhou in which the parent company is a major producer of vanadium, a chemical element.
