KUALA LUMPUR: The host and comedian, Nabil Ahmad who is currently residing in the Holy Land pilgrimage, explained that he was safe.
Nabil real name is Ahmad Nabil Ahmad share to be informed of the news after a stampede when millions of Muslims were performing the ritual of stoning the Jamarat in Mina on Sunday.
"I received a barrage of messages from family and close friends who ask about my situation here.
"Thank God, everything is safe. In fact, we were briefed to ensure that similar incidents do not recur.
"Surprised even when informed about the incident. I will only leave there at 3pm," Nabil wrote on Whatsapp.
Add Nabil, security has been briefed and safety guidelines to Malaysian pilgrims move in groups and are more cautious.
Nabil went to Mecca on September 19 and is expected to return home this October 1st.
