Children 4 years of deadly hit TV

Ipoh: A boy aged four years died crushed a 29-inch television in Taman Mas, Teluk Intan, near here, this afternoon.

Hilir Perak OCPD ACP Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain said the incident occurred around 12 noon in the living room of a house in Taman Mas, Teluk Intan.

"In the incident, the victim holds the relevant television to watch cartoons, and sudden falls and TV's above the left side of the victim's head," he said when contacted today.

He said the victim, who is the eldest of three siblings, then sent to the Teluk Intan Hospital by his mother.

However, the hospital confirmed the victim has died after suffering serious injuries to his head, he said.

"Television is measuring 29 inches and weighing about 40 pounds," he said. Mohd Shuhaily said it received preliminary information from the hospital at 1:35 pm, the report said.
