Lahad Datu: Six six Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) injuries while 18 other people were rescued after the truck they were traveling in overturned in the accident in Jalan Tengah Nipah, Kampung opportunity, Lahad Datu, 10.30am.
Trucks carrying soldiers 24 members own skidded before overturning on the route. Public Relations Officer of the State Fire and Rescue Department, Mohd Affendy K Ramin said, firefighters received to the scene after receiving an emergency call at 10:53 am.
"Upon arrival, soldiers found a truck involved in the accident and 24 members including the driver out of the vehicle itself. "Six of them were injured and all the victims were taken to hospital by ambulance Lahad Datu," he said when contacted.
According Affendy, firefighters ceased operations at 11.45 am, the cause of the incident is still in tactics.
