The victim's mother hope their children safe dredger

KLANG - "I pray he is safe. I hope my son goodwill working in Johor to support the family enabled him to return to his family," said the mother of one victim discharge dredge sank in Johor.

Azizah Abdul Aziz, 52, said he did not expect his son, Raja Mohammad Firdaus Raja Ikram, 23, will be overtaken by misfortune it.

Raja Mohammad Firdaus was the only Malaysian in Bolivia registered dredger, Oceanline SC208, which sank 8.6 nautical miles east of Cape Punggai at 4.20am yesterday on the way from the Gulf RaI'm say to Pengerang.

The incident caused the 14 crew of 13 Chinese nationals and Raja Mohammad Firdaus missing, while another Chinese citizen were rescued by the crew of another vessel which happened to pass by the area.

Azizah said Raja Mohammad Firdaus working in Johor since last year and was on vacation during the four months from December last year because he wanted to keep his father, Raja Ikram Raja Mahad, 67, is ill.

"However, on 25 April, he went back there (Johor). I do not want him to go but he wanted to leave," he said.

Azizah said the last time she had come home is on May 4 to pick up a paycheck.

Earlier, Azizah visited Klang Umno division head, Datuk Nasaruddin Md.Zin who spent about half an hour there.
