Today, the internet network connection has become one of the many requirements - particularly in stay in touch, while also getting a range of information on the fly. Several state governments in Malaysia offer free WiFi to residents and tourists in their country, and now Johor will do the same.
Johor government now in order to make the study offering free WiFi at various locations around the state, and plans to provide about 100 hotspots by the end of this year.
The location for the hotspot will be selected based on the recommendations of local government, and the selected location will include a bus terminal, where many visits, the affordable-housing, MBJB Square, and Independence Park.
Speed to be offered is not announced, but the government Johor aims to offer high quality Wi-Fi services.
