Australia Denies image "category 3" recorded sonar linked MH370

KUALA LUMPUR: The Australian authorities denied news reports which claimed that the images were recorded sonar-like box at the bottom of the Indian Ocean are most likely from the missing MH370, according to the Australian Associated Press (AAP).

The news agency quoted a spokesman for Transport Minister Warren Truss confirming the object is not of Malaysia Airlines (MAS) MH370.

"All of it is the old image, believed captured several months ago.

"In fact, the probability that it is the debris is very small," the spokesman said.

According to the report, issued by some foreign media and local media on Thursday, said the discovery of the image of "category 3" was by a ship involved in the search, most likely the debris.

AAP said underwater search has identified more than 400 objects on the seabed, which is classified as a category 3 recorded by sonar, which is interesting because of the unusual circumstances of the situation in the environment but the probability has to do with the plane was very small.

On July 29, a fragment of a wing or fuselage Flaperon found beached in the island of Reunion and sent to France for analysis.

On August 6th, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak confirmed Flaperon it is of the MH370.

Flight 370 disappeared on March 8 during a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 passengers and crew, including 154 Chinese.
