'Ministers do not understand the issue 1MDB may resign'

KUALA LUMPUR - Cabinet Minister who still do not understand the issue of investment 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) despite a joint decision has been decided prompted to quit.

Chairman of BN Supporters Club (BNBBC), Tan Sri Shahrir Abdul Samad stressed that the Cabinet of Malaysia based on the principle of collective responsibility and any minister who still refuses to grasp the issue is considered to have violated the joint decision.

"The principle of the Cabinet, the principle of shared responsibility and decisions are collective decisions and collective responsibility.

"The choice is not there, no one forced a minister ... it does not matter, if the minister does not understand the words but the decision has been made, can exit it (the Cabinet)," he told reporters at Parliament lobby, here, today.

He was commenting on a statement Umno veteran Tan Sri Razaleigh Hamzah said yesterday that the entire Cabinet should be held accountable for the problems faced 1MDB and not charged to the Prime Minister alone.

Razaleigh, popularly known as Ku Li said, if members of the Cabinet are not aware of the issue 1MDB, they should make an investigation, rather than blame the other person.

Elaborating, Shahrir also said that if the Cabinet members still do not understand the issues facing 1MDB, they can find themselves involved with the prime minister until satisfied (Cabinet decision).

"We have the opportunity to discuss and ask questions until we are satisfied. If not satisfied can go again to see the Prime Minister asked again and asked the Minister of Finance.

"If the minister does not understand the word, tell me do not understand, ask. Do not let nobody reti want to ask, the principle of collective responsibility of the Cabinet we have, if you do not understand ask again," he said.

When asked about the validity of my claim Li He, however, described it as a mere allegation.

"I do not know, that he claims, there may be a minister not understand that I do not know, but the discussion never happened.

"If there is a decision and do not understand the minister said again .. do not understand what that thing? I think it's just allegations," he said.
