1MDB: Resigned if not shared recover - Najib

Najib's statement made during a cabinet meeting on Friday after the Minister of Finance II, Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah finished presenting the roadmap 1MDB to all members of the Cabinet.

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak asked any member of the Cabinet who were with him in the recovery 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) to resign.

Utusan Malaysia newspaper quoted today, Najib's announcement was made during a meeting of the Cabinet on Friday after the Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah finished presenting the roadmap 1MDB to all members of the Cabinet.

"The Prime Minister asked any member of the Cabinet who was not with him on the issue of 1MDB resign but none do so (state not shared)," the source told Utusan Malaysia.

1MDB investment company until today criticized various parties, including the great cause various problems in some aspects of investment made by the company's strategic development.

Tuesday, Backbenchers Club (BNBBC), Tan Sri Shahrir Abdul Samad, reportedly suggested that the minister does not agree with the decision of the Cabinet on the issue 1MDB to resign.

UMNO veteran member, Tengku Razaleigh last week also believes that all members of the Cabinet should take responsibility in dealing with the issue of 1MDB and not let Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak to face it alone.
