Al Jazeera documentary based on lies

KUALA LUMPUR - all featured in the controversial Al Jazeera documentary about the murder of a Mongolian woman, very damaging in 2006, published today, is solely based on what hearsay and not based on any concrete evidence.

In stating this, Communications and Multimedia Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak said the documentary contains many re-enactments of scenes with background noise to give the impression it is evident where exactly those scenes played by actors.

"How did they conclude that the scenes were adapted from the true story of an unexplained. Al Jazeera recognizes scenes are re-enactments.

"Why did Al Jazeera would distort ... a story that merely lies and speculation that sparked skepticism that exists hidden intention behind it," he said in a blog sskeruak.blogsport.my today.

He said international television stations that display the fact that altered many times by private investigator P. Balasubramaniam.

Salleh also said that Al Jazeera has also failed to mention the French police recorded a statement from Bala in Paris and finds it inconsistent and unreliable.

French police said the woman reported that the 28-year-old Mongolian nor or the latter was prime minister entered the country within the period stated in the documentary.

Therefore, he said it was a classic case of fact and fiction interspersed with stories disseminated.

"The focus of the story Al Jazeera focused on Attantuya who was a translator for the submarine contract, something that has not happened before she was hooked," he said.

"I can only classify this Al Jazeera report as mischievous and malicious with sensational stories that are presented as the truth," he said.
