A plane involved in the action film famous actor Tom Cruise Hollywoood, Mena crash in Medellin, Colombia and causing at least two people were killed and another was seriously injured.
Tom Cruise, however, was not in the plane during the incident.
Two pilots killed were American film Alan, David beginning, and Carlos Berl while another pilot was seriously injured Lee Garind and is currently receiving treatment at the Hospital of Medellin.
Begining is the Founder and President of LA Helinet Technologies, which provide air surveillance technology with law enforcement and government agencies.
Begining worked for several blockbuster films like "Transformers," "Pearl Harbor" and "Pirates of the Caribbean."
Citing AFP, local authorities believe that bad weather caused the Aerostar twin-engine plane crashed in the mountains of Alto de la Clarita.
A spokesman for Universal Pictures said in a statement, said the plane carrying the film production crew crashed while returning to the Airport Enrique Olaya Herrea after completing filming on that day.
"Detailed information regarding the crash could not be released so far and for the production of condolences to the families of those affected,"
The Universal Pictures films directed by Doug Liman has carried out the shooting in Colombia since the end of August.
Tom Cruise plays a pilot Barry Seal of American workers with Colombian drug dealer Pablo Escobar before becoming a spy Drug Enforcement Agency.
