Police cordon off six armed men at Valley Heights

KUALA LUMPUR: Police surrounded the six foreign men fled to Valley Heights Recreation Park, immediately broke into two homes around Taman Tun Dr Ismail, here.

Brickfileds district police chief, Senior Assistant Commissioner Azlee Mohammed Abdullah, when contacted, confirmed the incident.

"Commercial hunting of six gunmen were underway around the recreation park.

"The entrance to the park was closed and people who are in the park were ordered to get out," he said.

Commenting further, Mohammed Azlee said members came across the six foreign men while patrolling the area near about 5 am this morning.

"He told all the men armed with machetes and tried to attack the police before fleeing into the forest," he said.

All the suspects are believed to have fled to the forest in Yosemite Valley Recreation Kiara and police had surrounded the area since 5 this morning.

The six men were hunting operations are underway.
