COMPANY manufacturing electronic devices LG recorded an increase in sales in the smartphone segment with a total of 15.4 million units in the first quarter of this year.
According to a statement issued by the company, total sales increased by 26 percent compared to the same period last year.
"Sales in North America increased by 66 percent and by 57 percent in Korea with the introduction of new smart phones that G Flex2 premium.
"Meanwhile, for the second quarter of this year, we are confident that the launch of the smartphone LG G4 can improve the company's profitability," he said.
According to him, other than the smartphone segment, 4K Ultra HD TV market and OLED TV also believed to increase demand for its products in Asia and North America for the second quarter of this year.
