Women fatal car lost control, hit a truck



VALUE - A woman died and another was seriously injured after the car he was driving a Toyota Unser involved in an accident with a 10 tonne lorry at Km 287.4 North-South Highway (PLUS) South direction here, yesterday.

The incident at around 6.30 pm that led to the victim, Hayati Mohamad Sahari, 44, died at the scene due to severe injuries.

The district police chief, Superintendent Abdullah Ironing said initial investigations revealed that the incident occurred when the car carrying the victim lost control and hit the back of a lorry laden with 10 tons of vegetables.

"The incident resulted in the lorry lost control and hit a metal barrier on the right side of the road and skidded into the opposite highway leading to Kuala Lumpur.

"The train ride was believed overturned several times on the road that leads to the driver of Biological death and the passengers seriously injured," he said.

According to him, the two were sent to the Tuanku Jaafar Hospital in Seremban here for further action. The case is being investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
